Every effort under Café Restore leads to one goal:
Keeping people in place. Rooted, housed, and free from legal displacement.
Café Restore is a land-justice and property-retention initiative built to stop the quiet, legal erasure of Black property ownership. Across the country, Black families are losing homes, land, and generational wealth — not through neglect, but through paperwork, predation, and policies designed to destabilize ownership. We exist to intervene in that cycle — before, during, and after it happens.We operate at the intersection of title research, property law education, and community protection. Our work uncovers buried deeds, exposes fraudulent transfers, challenges wrongful demolitions, and equips families with the legal literacy to defend what’s already theirs.

We exist to ensure that Black property owners and their descendants are not erased from the map. Each case we touch represents more than land — it’s history, identity, stability, and inheritance. By combining legal strategy, public education, and community mobilization, Café Restore creates pathways to keep people housed, rooted, and legally protected.
